TKAM Paragraphs
In To Kill a Mockingbird Harper Lee describes people and what they think about the trial so well that you get what is really happening in the eyes of the courtroom audience. Jem is definitely one character who is described a lot. You can almost see and feel what Jem is feeling. Jem is heard saying, “We’re gonna win, Scout. I don’t see how we can’t.” I think this shows how naïve Jem really is. He is still young enough that he thinks that everything is fair. The courtroom scene shows just how naïve and innocent children can be.
Comments:
I think you just need to get a quote from the story or evidence but other than that I thought your paragraph was great! It is so true that the kids in this story are so naïve and this trial does show us that. Nice job ~Jess~
Your paragraph isn’t really that bad Bryn. You just need to get a quote or some type of evidence to support what you think about Jem. Like either something Jem said, or something he did that shows how naïve he is in the courtroom scene. Once you put this into your paragraph things will tie together and it will be easier to understand! Good Job! – Ciara
It’s actually really good since you weren’t here last time to work on it! Like they said, you need a quote. Also I’m not sure but maybe should you change this: at the beginning you talk about emotions of everyone in the courtroom but at the end you’re talking about Jem being naïve. Just a thought. Nice job.

Unnatural Exposure
Unnatural Exposure is a murder mystery kind of book. It is one book in a long line about the Chief Medical Examiner of Virginia, Dr. Kay Scarpetta. I couldn't put this book down once I started it. This book is by Patricia Cornwell who has also written more murder mystery books, without Dr. Kay Scarpetta. This book will keep you on your toes and wanting more, I recommend this book to anyone who wants to read a really good mystery.
